October international break: who's using it to reset, who's dreading it?

The next round of internationals is almost here and it could not have arrived at a worse time for some clubs just finding rhythm, while a few stuttering ones will be relieved to hit pause. Which national team actually looks like it's building something, and which one is just papering over the cracks until the World Cup?

Honestly some national teams are just using these breaks to survive at this point. No real plan, just hoping not to lose. The World Cup build-up is a worry.

The break's a nightmare for clubs in form. Just when a team finds its rhythm, half the squad flies off and you lose the momentum completely.

I really dislike international breaks. It's boring without club football, and it does break up any momentum your club has. Also players come back either tired or injured.

Dreading it or not, the clubs with thin squads are the ones sweating. One injury on international duty and your season's shaped differently.
